ヤマザワの汚い商法  from 庄内の日本桜草栽培日誌  (2026-9-26 15:56)

今日はヤマザワでミツカンの追いがつおつゆの素1.8Lが税込321円の特売日。 普通特売品というのは特売品用の棚を別途設置して置くものだが、ヤマザワはそれをやらない。 特売品はいつもの棚のみで、特売日に合わせて数多く仕入れることもしないから、すぐに売り切れる。 まあ、それは不誠実だと感じるが、無いなら仕方ないので我慢も出来る。 しかしヤマザワは違う、とことん悪どい。 今日は通路に棚が設置され、そこに「ミツカンの追いがつおつゆの素」が積まれていたが、1000ml品だった。 しかも1000ml品を積んだ棚が3箇所に設置されており、 それだけ見れば推しの商品であり、勝手に特売品と思い込んでしまいそうになる。 そして本命の1.8Lの特売品は通常の棚の位置に少量あるのみだった。 ヤマザワはこういう誤認させる商品展示を平気で行う。騙してはいません。お客様が勝手に誤認されたのです。 注意されたら「すみません。交換や返金を行います」 「特売品は品切れですので、後日購入できる引換券をお渡しすることは可能ですが、如何なさいます」 と、さも誠実で親切な対応を見せるが、これらは不誠実な逃げ道＝言い訳マニュアル対応であり、腹黒い悪意ある行為。 これを平気で繰り返しているのです。 以前も「ミツカンの追いがつおつゆの素」1.8L特売日に買いに行くと 棚にはいつも見慣れた「ミツカンの追いがつおつゆの素」と何か雰囲気が違う品が並んでいた。 値段はチラシに載っていた価格だが、よ〜〜〜く見たら3倍濃縮ではなく2倍濃縮品だった。 値札も特売品と明記してなくてバリュープライスと書かれている。 かんたん酢800mlの特売日に、通路に面した棚3段にずらりとかんたん酢が並んでいたが、なんか短い。 よく見たら500mlだっ。 毎日買い物して料理している奥さまたちなら間違うことはないのかもしれないが、 買い物を頼まれただけのオヤジには見分けがつかない。 でもヤマザワの不誠実で悪どい商法を知った今は、最初から信頼してないし、 何か企んでいるんだろうと思って買いに行っているので、騙されなくなった。 皆さんもヤマザワで特売品や展示品を買う時には、ご留意して買うようにしてください。

今夜はとても小さい羽蟻が何匹も飛来してきました。 ウチの庭では彼岸花が咲いたというのに、今から新しい巣を作れるんですかね？ また今夜は久しぶりにカミキリムシが飛来しました。 年々小型化している気がします。

小さいカミキリ  from 庄内の日本桜草栽培日誌  (2026-8-4 23:52)

今年の夏は、夜に窓を全開にしていても羽虫が入って来ず、過ごしやすい。 反面、生態系が大丈夫なのかと心配してしまう。 昨日8月3日の段階で梅雨明け宣言がなされるべきだと感じたが、今日梅雨明け宣言がなされた。 日中はフェーン現象で暑いが、夜になると涼しく過ごしやすい。 今夜久しぶりに羽虫が部屋に入ってきた。触覚が異様に長いカミキリムシだ。 庄内浜の松の防風林が食害で枯れてしまい、小さいカミキリ虫には良いイメージが無くなってしまったが ブログネタになってくれたので取り敢えずリリースした。

Collaboration and Dedication: Digitizing Legacy Publications of the Asiatic Society  from Biodiversity Heritage Library  (2026-7-1 22:15)

Back in June of 2010, the founding institutions of BHL began a major digitization project that would span the work of 11 years, 9 institutions, 19 people, 40 tickets within BHL’s issue tracking system, over 82 comments on those tickets, and countless hours of work. Was this part of a grant funded project to facilitate the digitization and inclusion of millions of pages into BHL’s collection? No. This body of digitization and curation work revolves around the series of titles that are part of the Journal of The Asiatic Society. By June 2021, BHL was gratified to finally call the digitization of all public domain volumes "complete" to the best of its ability.
